Dietary and allergen advices

Accepted Answer

Our kitchen produces items that contains mixed nuts, dairy, gluten and eggs. We use a clean, separate set of equipment to produce special diet cakes (gluten free and eggless). However, they are still produced in the same kitchen where we bake our regular cakes. Hence, there might be minimal traces of contamination. For consumers that are critically allergic, we do not recommend getting your cakes from us. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Question 2

Is Cakeinspiration halal certified?

Accepted Answer

· Cakeinspiration is not halal certified. However, all ingredients used are halal. We do not use any pork, lard or alcohol in our cakes (unless upon request. But a separate set of equipment will be used). 
· Alcohol bottles are used for decorating only.

Question 3

What flavours do you have?

Accepted Answer

· Sponge cake flavours
· Butter cake flavours – Butter cakes are used for heavily designed fondant cakes as sponge cakes will not be able to support the weight of the décor.
· **Special flavours can be done upon request and subjected to order and availability. (min. 1 month lead time) 
· Standard cupcake flavours : Vanilla / chocolate
· All external cream decorations will be done in buttercream.

Colours and design

Accepted Answer

· All colours are mixed with human grade food colouring. They are 100% safe for consumption. However, strong colours might alter the flavour of the buttercream (slightly bitter) and will cause stains. The stains will naturally be gone after a few rounds on rinsing and washing.
· All cakes and desserts are done manually by hand. We do not use any machines to produce the cakes. Hence, slight variations are expected and considered as acceptable, especially when size or number of tiers are different. We do not promise a 1-to-1 replica from photo to cake.

Question 6

How do I store my cakes?

Accepted Answer

· Gourmet cakes should be stored in the fridge upon receive, to be consumed within 3 days.
· Durian cakes can be stored in the fridge if you are consuming it within the same day, or in  the freezer if you intend to consume it after a few days. It should be consumed within 5 days if it is stored in the freezer.
· Buttercream cakes can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days, or in an air conditioned environment for 3-4 hours.
· Fondant cakes should be stored in an air conditioned environment, to be consumed within 2 days.
· We strongly recommend for all bakes to be consumed within 2 days for best taste and quality.
· We recommend thawing the cake for 30 minutes to 1 hour before consumption. Our cakes taste best in room temperature.

Question 7

Supporting pins and wires

Accepted Answer

· Supporting pins are often found in cake that requires more support (due to weight of decorations of top of the cake) and tiered cakes. Wooden sticks and straws are often used to support the cake.
· Wires are often used to provide structure for figurines. Wires will not be found in cake, but they might be used in figurines that require a lot of structure.

Money pulling cake

Accepted Answer

· Money pulling cakes are available for all cream cakes. However, the option will only be available in our longevity and wealth themed cakes. If you require the money pulling option for a design that does not offer money pulling, kindly reach out to our sales team.
· Designs on top of the cake might be adjusted slightly so that there is ample space for the notes to be pulled out from the cake.
· The smallest available size for money pulling cakes would be 7 inch.
· Our money pulling cakes will be additional $30 for the mechanism. 
· For the denominations, simply mix and match your denominations amongst $2, $10, $50 & $100 and let us know the sequence. (You may offer us your own notes as well) 
7 inch – Maximum 16pcs of bank notes 
8 inch and above – Maximum 20pcs of bank notes
· Money pulling cake require a minimum of 3 days lead time as we will need to work on the mechanics of the money pulling.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellation and refund policy
· 10 days or more: Full refund in store credits or 90% in cash. 
  6-9 days: 70% in store credits or 50% in cash.  5 days or less: No refunds will be made.
· Our sales team will keep track of your store credits. Store credits should be used within 5 months after issue.
